CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2.

CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.

Missions/Main Duties

• Understanding the project, Client requirements, Schedule and Budgets.
• Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams, acting as the focal point for MEP design interfaces.
• Review and check reports, drawings, and calculations for technical soundness, coordination, and compliance.
• Ensure MEP deliverables adhere to SYSTRA policies, quality management systems, safety practices, design and project processes and ISO certifications
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all design coordination activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or design conflicts that arise during the design and construction phases.
• Through the lifecycle of a design project, you will liaise with specialist engineering teams to ensure that the design work is delivered in accordance with the engineering best practice and in compliance with mandated standards.
• Proactively working to contribute to a continuous improvement culture raising opportunities for improvement whenever these are identified.
• Act as primary interface between Mechanical disciplines with various other discipline including architects, civil / structural Engineers, Contractors and consultants to track and resolve interface conflicts and ensure efficient workflows.
• Act as the main point of contact for design queries, change management, and technical issue resolution within project teams.
• Liaise with project managers, Engineers, civil and systems engineers, and clients to understand and deliver project requirements.
• Collaborate with project management team to develop detailed schedules, monitor progress, manage design costs. Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone deliverables for Mechanical design scope.
• Participate in site visits, technical meetings, and support project handover phases. Ensure installations and commissioning comply with the approved designs and quality standards.
• Focus on the delivery of high quality technical design drawings and specifications to the required regulations.
• Develop the technical capabilities of the team.
• Contribute to technical solutions on projects.
• Initiate and participate in design peer reviews.
• Review of design basis report
• Review of design for Public Health Engineering & Fire Fighting Systems
• Prepare basic drawing and specifications as per approved scheme.
• Designing and drawing of plumbing including internal drainage.
• Preparing single line diagram of the drainage schemes.
• Design, drawing and coordination of internal & external hydrant systems as per codes.
• Provide regular project status and financial performance updates to line manager
• Attend team meetings and lead project team meetings. Cascade relevant information and encourage feedback from team
• Lead by example and ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across their team and projects.
• Review BOQ, Cost Estimate and Technical Specification
• For Team Lead, prepare resource requirement, Cost monitor and Control
• Coordinating with Project Manager and Client /GC officials
