Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Nashik is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 6–12 years of experience to drive production targets, implement quality management systems, and ensure adherence to 5S and IPMS.

You will lead shop floor activities, conduct process audits, and coordinate with MQW/MQS/MAPS guidelines while maintaining safety and timely action on customer concerns. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical is required; familiarity with WSS, QC tools, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments (6–12 years).
• Knowledge of Quality Management, 5S, IPMS, and QDMS.
• Familiarity with shop floor management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day targets and priorities on the shop floor.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct process audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain QMS, WSS, 5S, and safety practices.
• Coordinate with MQW/MQS/MAPS guidelines and address customer concerns.
• Prepare SOS and maintain 5S standards; minimize non-conforming products.

Job description

• Daily Work Management- Monitor the set targets on a day to day basis effectively by managing priorities.
• Monitor BWT’s performance w.r.t. PQCDSM and seek out better ways of improving BWT performance
• Ensure timely actions for internal/external customer concerns and sustenance of the same.
• Adherence to production schedule
• Adherence to training plan as per ILU matrix and improve/upgrade skill level
• Conduct various process audits and closure of NC’s
• Understand MQW , MQS & MAPS and demonstrate execution of their guidelines.
• Responsible for adhering to Quality Management systems, WSS, 5S, IPMS & QDMS
• Maintain QMS, prepare SOS, WSS documents & 5S standards.
• Identify scope for continual improvemet in WSS, JH & 5S along with maintaining safety at work.
• Maintain OLE records and restore minor stoppages & breakdowns quickly by ICA/PCA to minimize recurrence
• Shop Floor Management
• Timely disposal of non confirming products & scrap
