Job summary

ReNew in Gurugram is seeking a Finance professional with 2-5 years of treasury experience to lead financial modelling, cash management, and bank relations for a fast-growing renewable energy business.

Education: CA/MBA Finance/CFA or equivalent. You will build dashboards, oversee fixed deposits and mutual funds, and ensure compliance with RBI guidelines. This role is based in Gurugram and offers opportunities to contribute to sustainable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• CA/MBA (Finance) or CFA or equivalent finance qualification is preferred.
• 2-5 years of treasury/relevant experience is required.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, cash flows, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Documentation, Compliance & Controls: ensure internal controls and compliance across treasury activities and audits.
• Financial Modelling, Reporting & MIS: build financial models and prepare dashboards for management decisions.
• Bank Relationship Management: act as primary contact with banks and negotiate terms.
• Investments: oversee Fixed Deposits and Mutual Funds operations and reporting.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Documentation, Compliance & Controls

• Ensure strong understanding of internal controls and compliance across all treasury activities.
• Ability to manage documentation for various treasury facilities and arrangements.
• Ensure semi-annual/annual covenant compliances and submission of information to lenders/stake holders.
• Support statutory, internal, and bank audits with accurate data and timely responses.
• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and company policies.

2. Financial Modelling, Reporting & MIS

• Experience of building financial models, projections, CMA data from scratch for internal and external submissions.
• Experience in preparing and presenting PPT’s dashboard to mid/senior management for decision making.
• Prepare and review MIS reports on cash flows, exposures, investments, and liquidity positions.
• Analyze trends, risks, and financial impacts to support decision-making.
• Present treasury insights and strategies to senior management.
• Build and manage various trackers for a) fund availability and takeout, b) financial and information covenant compliances for lenders c) pending internal actionable with/from internal/external stakeholders d) treasury limit utilizations etc.

3. Bank Relationship Management

• Act as the primary contact for all banks and financial institutions.
• Negotiate rates, terms, limits, and fees for various treasury instruments.
• Manage credit documentation.
• Build and maintain strong banking relationships to support business needs.

4. Investments: Fixed Deposits & Mutual Funds

• Manage investment operations for Fixed Deposits and Mutual Funds.
• Oversee placement, renewal, redemption, and tracking of returns.
• Ensure investment documentation, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Maintain updated investment registers and reports.

Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent finance qualification preferred.

Experience: 2-5 years of treasury/relevant experience
