Job summary

moglix seeks a techno-commercial professional to analyze customer purchase data and derive actionable insights. The role focuses on indirect purchase categories, market dynamics, and maximizing opportunities from ARC and RFQ processes.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Purchase teams, Central Procurement, and Local Sourcing to deliver data-driven strategies and improve efficiency in procurement analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer purchase data to identify ARC and RFQ opportunities.
• Perform price analysis to estimate item/category profitability with low margin of error.
• Develop insights on vendor rationalisation and data sanitization.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to submit competitive, timely data analysis.
• Get supplier quotes, negotiate, and establish terms.
• Monitor and report progress to the business development team.
• Identify and develop standard processes for business development needs.
• Develop approaches to review procurement analysis effectiveness.
• Improve TAT in customer purchase data analysis.
• Build a purchase database of indirect items to scale up and improve TAT.

Job description

Role Objective

We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. He/She would be expected to Analyse and derive inferences from Customer Purchase Data. Data analytics skills required. This role requires understanding and in-depth knowledge of Indirect purchase categories and is aware of market dynamics.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze customer purchase data (10,000+ line items, 2,000+vendors) to identify and maximize ARC (Annual Rate Contract) and RFQ (Request For Quotation) opportunities.
• Category wise and item wise price analysis to estimate item level, category level and overall profitability with least possible margin of error.
• Develop insights regarding vendor rationalisation, data sanitization and frequency analysis.
• Cross functional team coordination with Business Development, Customers Purchase teams, Central Procurement team and Local Sourcing teams to achieve the goal of submitting competitive and timely data analysis.
• Get relevant suppliers quotes, negotiate, and start relationship for Price analysis and conversion to favourable delivery and credit terms.
• Monitor and report progress regularly to business development team.
• Identify & develop standard processes that address business development requirements.
• Develop innovative approaches to review effectiveness of procurement analysis.
• Improvement of TAT in customer Purchase data analysis.
• Build a purchase database of indirect items for scaling up and improving TAT
