Job summary

ReNew is seeking a Deputy Manager - Solar Quality to ensure field quality at our solar sites in Barmer, Rajasthan. The role requires hands-on oversight to confirm work matches approved FQPs, ITPs, SOPs, and project specs, with supervision of internal quality engineers and TPAs.

Primary responsibilities include driving timely NCR closure via RCA and CAPA, conducting site audits, material inspections, and job-specific quality training programs, and preparing FQAPs, checklists, and quality

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years in EPC Quality (3 years in Solar EPC).
• Auditing of Field and material receiving at site.
• Knowledge of standards applicable in Solar/Power installations; testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality work through our own Engineers and TPAs.
• Ensure that NCs are minimised and are closed quickly, and verification of RCA and Corrective actions.
• Imparting Job specific trainings at site.
• Prepare and implement FQAPs, checklists, work instructions, and quality procedures.

Role - Deputy Manager - Solar Quality

Location - Shiv - Barmer - Rajasthan

Education -B.E./B-Tech with proven solar site quality experience

Job Purpose - To Ensure Field Quality at Solar Site.

Job Summary - Responsible for ensuring execution as per approved FQPs, ITPs, SOPs, and project specifications. Monitor and supervise quality activities through internal quality engineers and TPAs. Drive timely closure of NCRs through effective RCA, corrective and preventive actions. Conduct site audits, material inspections, and job-specific quality training programs. Prepare and implement FQAPs, checklists, work instructions, and quality procedures. Possess sound knowledge of solar project standards, testing, commissioning, and quality management systems. Strong expertise in Civil, DC, AC installation, earthing, substation works, and overall project quality assurance

WORK EXPERIENCE :

• 6 to 12 years in EPC Quality (3 years in Solar EPC).
• Auditing of Field and material receiving at site.
• Knowledge of the various standards applicable in Solar/Power installations. Knowledge about testing and commissioning

PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Ensure Quality work through our own Engineers and TPAs.
• Ensure that NCs are minimised and are closed quickly, and verification of RCA and Corrective actions.
• Imparting Job specific trainings at site.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Preparation of Field Quality plans, SOP’s ,Work instructions and its implementation.
• Knowledge about Civil, DC , AC erection and testing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements

SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED :

• Strong expertise in Civil, DC, AC installation earthing, substation works, and overall project quality
• Possess sound knowledge of solar project standards, testing, commissioning, and quality management systems

LINKAGES & REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS :

• Ensuring installations are carried out as per approved FQP’s.
• Supervise & Monitor quality work at project site. Prepare and revise FQAP and checklists.
