Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions invites applications for the Deputy Manager - Projects role. You will oversee mechanical engineering projects, supervise cross-functional teams, and ensure timely execution of process modification initiatives.

Key responsibilities include vendor and contractor coordination, BOQ & P&ID reviews, and support for DQ/IQ/OQ documentation of equipment and utilities in GMP environments. Bachelor of Technology is required with 7–9+ years total experience.

Qualifications

• 7 to 9+ years total experience in mechanical engineering.
• At least 4+ years in project engineering.
• Experience with process modification projects and vendor management.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing BOQ, P&ID, and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of project work for various process modification projects.
• Follow-up with Vendors & Contractors pertaining to Project work.
• Project Bills cross checking as per BOQ and certify the bill for accounting.
• Preparation of P&ID and conceptualization layout as per URS.
• Preparation of BOQ as per P&ID and layouts for modification and new projects.
• Supporting documentation team in preparation of DQ, IQ & OQ of Process equipment’s, Utility equipment’s, HVAC and water system’s as per GMP.
• Preparation of all engg. equipment data sheet and drawings for procurement of Type-II projects.
• Checking & Verification of all engg. equipment data sheet and drawings of Type-II.
• PR creation and bills service entry. Bills tracking and checking for site projects.
• Material inspection and certification in stores.
• PR, PO tracking, GRN tracking for ongoing projects.
• Closing & Capitalization of all the projects CER’s as per time schedule.
• Follow up with vendor’s for qualification related documents, manuals and certificates.
• Handover of completed project / equipment to maintenance department.
