Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an experienced Piping Project Engineer to oversee planning, execution and coordination of piping work in large-scale industrial projects. The role requires reviewing engineering drawings, preparing material lists, and ensuring timely fabrication and erection with proper documentation.

The candidate should have 3–7 years of piping experience, exposure to AG & UG piping, and strong negotiation skills with multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering is essential.
• 3–7 years of experience in piping projects.
• Experience in planning, executing and coordinating piping work in large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience handling AG & UG piping and dealing with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect and study engineering drawings before executing piping jobs.
• Prepare material lists and resources required for fabrication and erection.
• Ensure pre-fabrication activities align with timelines and material availability.
• Coordinate tools, tackles and equipment for erection of piping jobs.
• Maintain daily erection records and ensure spool, line and joint numbers are properly tracked.

Responsibilities

• Collect various types of drawing before executing piping jobs
• Study various engineering drawing before executing jobs
• Prepared list of materials, resources, tolls & tackles required to execute the job.
• Ensure pre fabrication activities going as per time
• Ensure material availability required for pre fabrication job
• Finalize scope of fabrication work
• Prepare daily fit up report to start fabrication
• Punch line no, joint no, spool no for easy access in future at the time of fabrication
• Check the spool as per drawing & release it for welding
• After weld release for inspection for erection
• Coordinate & timely arrange all tools, tackles & equipments required to erect the piping jobs.
• Check pipe rack support & than start erection of piping
• Maintain daily erection record to track to progress

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Essential: Diploma / Degree in Engineering
• Experiences: Minimum experience: 3-7 years experience in piping project
• Various kind of piping job planning, execution & coordination in large scale industrial projects
• Experience in handing AG & UG piping
• Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External) and conducting negotiations with large-scale. high-value vendors.
