Job summary

Adani Group's Adani Power Limited seeks a Deputy Manager - MTPOE (OE Analytics) to conduct in-depth analyses of major plant equipment, identify performance losses and drive continuous improvement through data-driven root cause analysis.

You will manage instrument budgets, calibration schedules, and MoC approvals, coordinate with Operations & Maintenance teams, and support audits and assessments to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or equivalent technical degree.
• 10+ years experience in operational excellence or process improvement in manufacturing or plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of major plant equipment using test data to identify performance trends and losses.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues using data-driven approaches and implement rigorous checks based on historical data to prevent future inefficiencies.
• Communicate identified gaps to stakeholders and collaborate on developing resolution strategies.
• Support in the resolution of issues based on insights and analysis from operational data.
• Manage instrument budgeting, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
• Manage calibration schedules to maintain the accuracy, reliability and availability of major equipment.
• Follow up on MoC approvals and notify O&M teams as necessary and update on SAP systems.
• Assist in field operations during annual audits and assessments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Analyse existing processes and systems to identify areas for enhancement and collaborate with stakeholders to review and refine operational procedures and implement cost optimization opportunities through strategic analysis and planning.
• Provide analytical support for external audits, administrative tasks, and report assessments.
• Ensure adherence to IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department.
• Maintain the safety of personnel and equipment through proper training, regular reviews of safety measures and adherence to safety protocols and standards.
• Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.
• Execute comprehensive digitization strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
• Implement automation solutions to support overall organizational goals/strategy.
• Implement process and system improvements, adopting newer technologies and innovative ideas.

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for conducting detailed analyses of plant equipment performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to drive operational excellence. Educational Qualification:

BE/B.tech or equivalent technical field.

Work Experience (Range of years):

10+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related field within a manufacturing or plant environment.

Preferred Industry:

Experience in the petrochemical, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sector is preferred.
