This role is responsible to monitor and operate plant systems, including Boiler, Turbine, Generator, BOP, switchyard and transformer area ensuring their optimal performance and executing necessary start-up and shut-down procedures. This role also performs and monitors Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) operations, maintaining equipment, promoting energy conservation, and ensuring environmental compliance.
BE/B.tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in power plant operations with a focus on thermal power plants
Experience in the power generation industry, specifically with thermal power plants, is highly preferred.
