Job summary

ReNew is seeking a Deputy Manager - Hydro O&M to oversee mechanical maintenance across hydro assets in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. The role requires 10–15 years of experience with a mechanical engineering background (Diploma/BE/BTech) and hands-on leadership in preventive and breakdown maintenance.

You will lead execution, planning, and quick restoration efforts while upholding HSE standards, inventory control, and rigorous documentation to maximize generation and reliability.

Qualifications

• Execution and monitoring of mechanical maintenance activities to ensure healthiness of all equipment and related documentation.
• Assist in spares planning and inventory management.
• Minimize downtime in breakdown maintenance to reduce generation loss.

Responsibilities

• Execution of Preventive Maintenance for reliable operation.
• Planning and Execution of annual maintenance.
• Quick restoration of unit/system with fast troubleshooting thereby reducing downtime and maximizing generation.
• Ensuring HSE implementation during maintenance activities.
• Ensure adequate inventory and spares availability.
• Documentation: Scheduling, Daily Maintenance Report, Checklists, Breakdown Reports, HIRA, SOPs, JSA, etc.
• RCA for system improvement.
