Job summary

Electronica Finance is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse & Analytics professional to design and implement a cloud-based Data Warehouse and Analytics platform, consolidating data from ERP and business systems into a centralized repository.

You will work with Technology, Finance, Risk and Operations to establish a Single Source of Truth, automate reporting, and enable near real-time dashboards and AI-enabled insights for strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Eng/Data Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehousing, BI, Analytics, MIS automation or Data Engineering.
• Proven ability to develop dashboards and management reports.
• Hands-on SQL, data transformation and data automation experience.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik).

Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse & Analytics professional to join the Technology / Data function of a mid-sized financial services organization. The role will play a key part in defining and implementing the organization's cloud-based Data Warehouse and Analytics platform, enabling the consolidation, transformation and collation of data from multiple internal ERP and business systems into a centralized repository.

The individual will work closely with Technology, Business, Finance, Risk, Operations and other stakeholders to establish a Single Source of Truth, automate management reporting and MIS, and enable near real-time dashboards and analytics. The role will also explore and implement AI-enabled capabilities for dashboard automation, reporting, data interpretation and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Warehouse & Cloud Data Platform

• Participate in defining the architecture, requirements and implementation roadmap for a cloud-based Data Warehouse / Data Lakehouse.
• Design processes for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading into the centralized repository; integrating with multiple systems.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Establish data models, data marts and analytical datasets to support business reporting and analytics.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance and security of the data platform.
• Establish standardized data definitions, KPIs and reporting logic across functions.
• Identify and resolve data quality, duplication, inconsistency and reconciliation issues.
• Support development of a trusted Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for management and operational reporting.

2. Business Intelligence, Dashboards & MIS

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and management reports for senior management and business teams.
• Automate recurring MIS and management reporting processes, reducing dependency on manual Excel-based reporting.
• Develop near real-time / frequent-refresh dashboards wherever business requirements demand.
• Establish standardized dashboards and KPI frameworks across business functions.

3. AI-enabled Analytics & Reporting

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML and Generative AI to enhance reporting and analytics.
• Explore AI-enabled automated generation of MIS, management summaries and business insights.
• Develop capabilities for natural-language querying of business data and dashboards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics, MIS automation or Data Engineering.
• Strong experience in understanding and documenting business intelligence and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in developing dashboards, MIS and management reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience in SQL, data transformation and data automation.
• Working knowledge of Python and its application in data processing/automation.
• Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and data integration across multiple source systems.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms / data warehouses is highly desirable.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or equivalent.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI or AI-enabled analytics will be an advantage.
