Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience as a Data Analyst/Data Analytics professional, with senior or team lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and mentor team members.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Analytics – Team Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven problem solver with strong expertise in data analysis, SQL, reporting, visualization, and business intelligence.

The candidate will be responsible for working with large and complex datasets, developing dashboards and reports, translating analytical findings into actionable business insights, and mentoring data analysts. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and contributing to the continuous improvement of our data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Extraction & Preparation

• Write, execute, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts.
• Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Work with large datasets and support data preparation for business analysis and reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar visualization tools.
• Present complex data and analytical findings in a clear, concise, and visually effective manner.
• Automate reporting processes wherever possible to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain relevant KPIs and analytical reports for business stakeholders.

Business Analytics & Stakeholder Management

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business recommendations.
• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand analytical requirements and define KPIs.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert for data and analytics within relevant business areas.
• Lead, guide, and mentor data analysts within the team.
• Provide guidance on data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and implementation.
• Establish and promote best practices in data analytics and visualization.
• Contribute to improving analytical processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and data science.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 6+ years of progressive experience as a Data Analyst/Data Analytics professional, with significant experience in a senior or team lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and mentor team members.

• Prior experience working with Google and PLEX environments.
• Experience with GCP/cloud platforms and big data technologies.
