Job Title: Deputy Manager – Chiller Sales Experience: 7–9 Years Location: Mumbai Department: Sales / HVAC Solutions **Role Overview** The Chiller Sales – Key Accounts role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing strategic customer relationships, and expanding business opportunities for chillers. The candidate will handle high-value key accounts, collaborate with consultants/contractors, and ensure strong engagement from opportunity identification to project completion. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Sales & Business Development Enquiry generation, spec-in with design team, consultants, Identify, develop, and convert sales opportunities for chillers (air-cooled, water-cooled, modular, and high-tonnage systems). Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets across assigned key accounts. Prepare and present technical & commercial proposals, sizing calculations, and solution recommendations. 2. Key Account Management Build long-term relationships with strategic customers, consultants, facility management companies, and industrial clients. Understand customer needs, pain points, and future project pipelines. 3. Technical & Solution Support Coordinate with engineering teams for selection, configuration, and pricing of chiller equipment. Support customers through pre-sales, technical consultation, spec-in, techno-commercial meetings, and bid clarifications. 4. Project & Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with internal teams— service, purchase and finance. Work and conclude on technical submittals for approvals post order. Ensure timely submission of tenders, quotations, and technical documents. Support negotiation, order finalization, and handover to execution teams. **Required Skills & Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical background.* 7–9 years of experience in HVAC or chiller sales, preferably with exposure to large tonnage or industrial projects.* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller technologies, cooling load calculations, and project sales cycles.* Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.* Ability to work with consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end-user client teams.* Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and reporting dashboards.
