Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a finance professional in Jaipur to manage inventory valuation, costing, and MIS for plant accounts. You will drive cost reduction initiatives, collaborate with procurement and SCPC teams, and ensure accurate monthly closings.

Expertise in SAP FI-CO and advanced Excel is essential to analyse aging and variances. The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, CA/CMA or equivalent qualification, and willingness to travel up to 80 km daily to plant

Qualifications

• CA/CMA or equivalent qualification with relevant finance exposure.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI-CO and cost accounting.
• Experience in plant accounting, closing activities and MIS generation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Monthly inventory valuation analysis across RM, MFG, WIP, FG and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and analyse material consumption, scrap, and cost centre spends.
• Support periodic physical inventory processes and corrective actions.
• Prepare MIS including Budget vs Actual, plant conversion cost, and variances.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for cost saving and process improvements.
• Assist in audits and ensure governance, compliance, and financial discipline.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

Monthly Inventory valuation working of RM, MFG, WIP, FG etc and ensure correctness of same. and Inventory Related MIS of forceful consumptions, Material Scrap, vendor aid etc.

Overall inventory analysis of RM, MFG, Vendor Aid, etc. with their ageing for reduction in inventory and minimise ageing and timely corrective action for same and taken up with concern Procurement /SCPC team.

Monthly Costing & Financial Consumption Analysis and ensure minimum gap along with working and analysis of Material Price Inc Dec impact, Bom change impact, Vendor Mix Impact etc.

Knowledge of Mass Product Cost rollup & New Product cost rollup (Material cost & Conversion cost) and qualitative analysis for effectiveness and corrective action.

Monitoring and analysis of Non Bom Misc. consumption i.e. forceful consumptions, Material Scrap, Cost Centre consumptions and reduction.

Monitoring of Perpetual Physical Inventory / Annual Physical Inventory Process to ensure adequate control is in place, process is followed, and corrective action is taken in time.

Monthly Mis of Miscellaneous Non Bom consumptions.

Periodic & Frequent analysis of Material Bom and Routing (Time Study) for cost benefit analysis and correctness.

Ensuring timely & accurately completion of monthly/Quarterly / Annual closing activities related to Plant accounts in coordination with HO accounts.

MIS generation for Plant Accounts which Includes Budget Vs Actual, Plant Conversion Cost etc.

Organising information for quarterly/annual audits as per given formats & timelines.

Monitoring adherence to compliances applicable to Plant Accounts.

Knowledge of Initiating Cost Saving Project, Process improvements through digitisation and AI.

Ensure strong governance, compliance, risk management, and financial discipline.

Ability to manage cross functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.

Experience

3- 5yrs

Industry Preferred

Auto / Farm or similar Industry will be preferred

CA/CMA Or Equivalent

General Requirements

Comprehensive Knowledge of SAP (FI -CO Module). Working Experience in SAP is must.

Good Command over MS office (Advance Excel & PPT), Uses of AI.

Willing to work in Plant location enviornment with daily travel of approx 80 Km( To& From ) from City ,

Self Starter, Effective team player, Analytics, Creative, Good presentation & communication skills
