The candidate will be part of Audit and Assurance Team which handles the Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Ind AS / IFRS Advisory, Audit of Internal Financial Control etc.

Job Purpose:

The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on audits for large corporate clients, ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Partner / Director / Senior Manager to build client relationships.
• Have a detailed understanding of auditing and accounting standards.
• Execute Statutory Audit / Indian GAAP / Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP accounting services.
• Establish audit objectives, design and implement audit methodologies, processes, and report criteria.
• Handle major audit engagements, including listed clients, independently.
• Lead the audit team on each assignment and mentor team members.
• Discuss significant issues with top management during audits.
• Review audit team work and provide information for Partner/AD review on time.
• Stay updated with amendments in applicable laws for attest functions.
• Expertise in audit of financial statements and consolidation of large corporates.
• Limited review of quarterly results of entities.
• Perform tax audit in accordance with Income Tax Law amendments.
• Ensure compliance with Ind-AS, accounting standards, ISA, Companies Act 2013, SEBI LODR & RBI Regulations.
• Meet deadlines and manage demanding client expectations.
• Be willing to travel within India.
• Possess strong soft skills: leadership, interpersonal, team & communication abilities.
• Be a team player with experience managing multiple audit engagements.

Requirements

• Qualified chartered accountant with experience in statutory audit of large listed and public limited companies.
• 2–6 years of experience handling audit of groups of entities and consolidated financials.
• Qualifying Systems Auditor from ICAI or CISA preferred.
• Certificate in Ind AS / IFRS is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP / Oracle.
