Job summary

Della Luxury Products is seeking a Deputy General Manager – Interior Design to lead the luxury interior design function from concept to execution. Based in Lonavala, you will shape premium spaces and direct design standards across residential, hospitality, and lifestyle projects.

You will manage complex projects, mentor design teams, and collaborate with architects, craftsmen, and leadership to deliver world-class interiors reflecting Della’s premium brand ethos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred with design management focus.
• Experience leading luxury interior design projects with strong leadership.

Location: Lonavala, Maharashtra (This role is based out of Lonavala)

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

We are looking for an accomplished Deputy General Manager – Interior Design who can lead exceptional interior design projects, translate luxury concepts into inspiring spaces, and drive design excellence across Della Luxury Products.

Role Overview

The Deputy General Manager – Interior Design will be responsible for leading the conceptualization, design development, and execution of luxury interior projects, ensuring alignment with Della's premium design philosophy.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in luxury interiors, luxury real estate, high-end residential projects, luxury furniture brands, hospitality, or premium design organizations and possess the ability to manage complex design projects from concept to completion.

This role requires a strong creative leader with excellent design sensibility, technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with architects, designers, craftsmen, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the interior design function and establish design standards aligned with Della's luxury positioning.
• Develop innovative interior concepts reflecting luxury, elegance, functionality, and customer experience.
• Translate client and business requirements into exceptional design solutions.
• Research global luxury design trends, materials, finishes, and emerging design concepts.

Conceptualization & Design Development

• Lead the complete interior design lifecycle from concept creation to execution.
• Develop:

• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution.

Luxury Space Creation

• Design high-end residential, hospitality, lifestyle, and experiential spaces.
• Create unique interiors integrating luxury furniture, lighting, materials, art, and accessories.
• Ensure every space reflects premium aesthetics, functionality, and attention to detail.

Project Execution & Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, furniture designers, fabrication teams, contractors, and project management teams.
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and execution details.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve design challenges during execution.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor interior designers and design teams.
• Build processes, standards, and workflows for design excellence.
• Encourage innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with CMD and leadership teams on design vision and project outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams including furniture design, fabrication, procurement, and production.
• Present design concepts and progress updates to senior stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10–15 years of experience in luxury interior design with proven leadership exposure.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, or premium lifestyle projects.
• Experience managing complete design projects from concept to execution.
• Strong understanding of luxury materials, furniture, lighting, finishes, and spatial design.
• Ability to balance creativity, functionality, timelines, and budgets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Education Qualification

Essential:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Design Management.
• Certifications from reputed design institutes will be an advantage.
