Job summary

Gokaldas Exports seeks a seasoned professional to lead design and sampling process automation and drive digital transformation across manufacturing units. The role focuses on enterprise-scale improvements in PLM/ERP and data analytics within the apparel sector.

The candidate will champion Lean manufacturing practices, implement Industry 4.0 solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption of new systems. Six Sigma proficiency is advantageous.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/NIFT Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in digital transformation, process excellence, or manufacturing excellence within apparel or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process automation, digital tools, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Oversee implementation of digital solutions such as ERP, MES, and data analytics platforms.
• Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to process excellence standards across all manufacturing units.
• Manage complex operational issues on the shop floor and provide strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
• Lead or contribute significantly to problem-solving workshops.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies; Green/Black Belt certification is an added advantage.
