The role involves evaluating future generation processes, simulatings and identifying new tools and materials to meet technology and business needs, while staying ahead of industry trends and leading technology innovation.

Technical

- Possess in depth knowledge of Process, Equipment & Materials used for solar manufacturing

- Understand in depth solar cell & module device physics

- Ability to simulate & evaluate accurately and identify future generation process, tools & material to meet technology & business needs

- Ability to improve product quality and reliability to the next level by process and material innovations and breakthroughs

- Ability to foresee Technology & Industry developments & trends and lead Technology innovation on new materials, process & products

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge in product design environment.

• Knowledge of interpreting design intent for DFM and DFA
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor or Solar.
• Knowledge in Prototype PV Cell/Module design functionalities that ensure good quality and manufacturability would be an advantage
• Knowledge of product functionality of PV Cell/Module would be an advantage
