Job summary

Premier Solar Systems in Tirupati seeks an experienced Production Manager to direct daily factory operations, supervise shift scheduling, and balance lines to meet tight volume and delivery goals.

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, drive yield and quality improvements using Lean and Six Sigma, and enforce safety, ISO/IEC standards in a high‑tech PV cell manufacturing environment. Deep knowledge of PERC/TOPCon cell architectures and SPC tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Materials Science Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in semiconductor or PV cell manufacturing, with leadership experience.
• Deep familiarity with advanced cell architectures (PERC or TOPCon) and SPC tools.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train shift engineers, technicians, and cleanroom operators.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce hazardous material handling protocols and maintain compliance with ISO and IEC manufacturing standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Materials Science Engineering.
• Experience: 8 to 12 years in semiconductor or photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturing, with several years in a leadership or managerial position.
• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with advanced cell architectures (such as PERC or TOPCon) and statistical process control (SPC) tools )
