Job summary

cargo-partner is seeking a motivated logistics professional in Mumbai to manage end-to-end shipment operations and maintain accurate documentation. You will interact with customers, collect documents, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve inquiries and ensure timely processing of freight movements.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data accuracy, and proactive updates to clients, with responsibilities spanning from pickup to delivery and invoicing.

• Ability to communicate shipment status clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end shipment handling and processing.
• Enter commercial data into CW1 and ensure document accuracy.
• Serve as the face of cargo-partner to customers and communicate shipment status.
• Share relevant documents with internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep customers informed of changes and handle queries.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve client issues.
• Process invoices and collect required documents.
• Contribute to CIP by implementing CAPA where needed.

• Enters relevant commercial data into the company’s transport management system (CW1) and ensures the accuracy of documents.
• Acts as the company’s face towards our customers.
• Communicates status of shipments and further steps.
• Collects and shares relevant documents with internal/external stakeholders.
• Keeps customers proactively informed whenever an unforeseen change occurs.

• Prepares, organizes and performs daily freight forwarding operations, in compliance with corporate directives and procedures.
• Organizes shipments from pick-up, customs clearance, loading, dispatch and delivery.
• Timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Handles shipments in compliance with corporate processes, SOPs and management instructions.
• Is responsible for the accuracy and quality of data submitted to the system.
• Issues, monitors and collects transport documents.
• Receives and registers invoices from suppliers.
• Collects all legally and internally required documents and maintains data in all relevant systems.
• Issues invoices to clients for handled shipments while respecting corporate invoicing speed regulations.
• Conducts retention phone calls to existing clients on a regular basis.
