Job summary

IMERYS is seeking an S&OP and Demand Planning Analyst in India to lead the sales and operations planning process for PMAPAC. The role ensures alignment with Top Management to meet mid- to long-term targets and customer satisfaction.

You will manage S&OP by coordinating with segments, product management, supply chain, operations, purchasing and finance. Strong analytical skills, ERP/SAP experience and data integrity focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Business/Logistics/Other Discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Production planning, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• Good understanding of S&OP best practices and project management.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Integrity and ethical standards; ability to propose solutions.
• Data integrity advocacy; familiarity with Google Suites and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP) and BI tools (SAC) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate demand forecasting across segments and finance for multiple horizons (18 months rolling, year-end).
• Create and maintain demand forecast models considering open orders and historical customer patterns.
• Manage PMAPAC S&OP cycle and coordinate forecast supply from operations.
• Translate external demand into INTERCO demand and coordinate SAC updates for raw material planning.
• Analyze supply and demand issues; prepare data, metrics, and scenarios for site discussions.
• Define and monitor key S&OP & SC KPIs; escalate risks and opportunities as needed.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Manages and execute sales and operation planning process in PMAPAC to ensure alignment of functions and Top Management to delivery of mid to long-term business targets and customer satisfaction

JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS

This position reports directly to the Sales & Operations Planning Leader.
He/she will manage the S&OP process including the trading demand planning as well as monitoring and supporting the relevant supply chain performance monitoring of key performance indicators of PMAPAC. He/she would be responsible for identifying, sharing and implementing best practices across sites within the region.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates / adherence the demand forecasting process, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from Segment and finance, for multiple time horizons as per our pre fixed timeline (18m rolling, year end, etc.) on PMAPAC Local Assets & Trading covering Trading, InterBA and Interco.
• Creates and maintains demand forecast models by taken in consideration on assisting open order & inventory + historical of customer purchase pattern
• Manages the PMAPAC local assets & trading S&OP cycle, incl. coordination of forecast supply response from operations.
• Analyse the external demand and convert into INTERCO demand where applicable. For Raw Material demand, to coordinate / guide the demand plant to update raw material demand in SAC. For Trading Warehouses / Sales Organizations, generate the INTERCO demand forecast, and review with Customer Service, Warehouse, Supply Chain team to fulfill the external sales demand / replenishment requirement for warehouses with MRP set. (Trading-APAC, interco-APAC, EMEA & PMA & major RM replenishment plan & update into SAC planning system)
• Analyse supply and demand issues. Prepares all data, metrics and scenarios to be discussed with respective sites (follow-up of action log file, communicates key conclusions to stakeholders )
• Ensures identification, monitoring and reporting of assumptions, risks and opportunities related to the medium to long-term business targets. Escalate as appropriate
• Defines and maintains key S&OP & SC KPIs
• Continuous improvement: Continuously review the S&OP process & Key Performance Matrixes to ensure it suits business needs and is up to date with best practices
• Key interfaces: strong partnership to be built with (i) Segments leadership, (ii) product management, (iii) Supply Chain, (iii) Operations; (iv) Purchasing; (v) Finance

JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation:

Experience :

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Production planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service related field
