Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Bangalore is seeking an AVP Delivery/Project Manager to drive Snowflake platform delivery and extension. You will work with product and project managers to steer engineering teams and stakeholders to achieve defined increments on time and budget.

The role requires building knowledge on delivery methods for Snowflake platform features and functionalities, coordinating across environments and ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform/data engineering with Agile (Scrum/Kanban/XP).
• CSM certification is highly welcomed.
• 3+ years as project manager; 3+ as application owner/product owner.
• 2+ years in DB IT landscape and processes; 3+ years with Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery sequence, increments and maturity of engineering teams.
• Track progress with engineering teams in regular cadences.
• Provide visibility on delivery targets, commitments and progress.
• Identify bottlenecks and improvement potentials for processes and deliverables.
• Remediate and escalate as needed.
• Manage cross-team dependencies with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
• Coordinate change management across environments and teams.
• Maintain a dependency map between deliverables and interfaces.
• Create transparency in collaboration patterns to derive best practices.
• Maintain overview of capacities, budgets and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Maintain risk and impediments register for management and planning.

Job Description: Job Title- Delivery/Project Manager, AVP Location- Bangalore, India Role Description

You drive the delivery of the set up and extension of the Snowflake Platform. Together with Product and Project Manager you steer the delivery of engineering teams and other stakeholders to reach the defined increments in time and budget. The role is not only a administrative role, but you also need to have or build up knowledge about the different ways features and functionalities can be delivered on the Snowflake Platform.

Your key responsibilities

• Driving and improving the sequence of delivery steps, product increments and maturity levels of the engineering teams.
• Track the progress of the delivery with the engineering teams in regular cadence.
• Provide proactive visibility and effectively communicate delivery targets, commitments and progress.

• Maintain and manage and risk and impediments register to provide always an overview for management and planning activities.
• Ensure that delivery processes satisfy corporate standards and do not bypass them.
• Coach the team to collaborate effectively in the team but also with team-external stakeholders.

Your skills and experience

• More than 5 years of experience working in a platform and data engineering organization using common Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is highly welcom
• More than 3 years experience as a project manager
• More than 3 years experience as an application manager or product owner (accountable for a data integration application)
• More than 2 years of experience in DB IT landscape and processes is very welcome
• More than 3 years experience in tools like Jira, Confluence etc.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
