Delivery Performance exists to assure the success of the Digital portfolio by strengthening quality and predictability through clear methodology, outcome measurement, and continuous improvement. It builds organisational memory of effective best‑practice standards, improves and simplifies how teams deliver work, and supports programmes with delivery excellence and independent assurance to give transparent oversight of portfolio health and capacity, and address risks before they become issues.
This role leads the Delivery Performance Planning, Operations, Assurance and Insights team, supporting the broader Delivery vector mission and ensuring the operational foundations required to oversee the Digital portfolio as part of BT’s Digital Change journey. The role is accountable for delivering the Delivery vector roadmap, driving on-time execution across the unit, and interfacing with delivery governance and assurance processes.
It owns the operating rhythm for Quarterly Bookend Reviews, portfolio governance, executive reporting, Quality Assurance (QA) PMO activities, cohort enablement, and portfolio insight products. A key focus is transforming portfolio data into reliable, decision-ready insights on delivery health, performance, capacity, dependencies, risks and trends, enabling effective decision-making across leadership forums.
The role leads reporting and governance activities across monthly, quarterly and annual business cycles for Digital, Group and ExCo stakeholders, covering key Delivery Performance measures such as earned value indices, flow efficiency and productivity metrics. It also acts as the primary interface with Delivery Excellence, coordinating QA reviews, recommendation tracking, QA cohort management, capability-building activities, Delivery Performance awards, communications, and progress against unit goals.
