Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Java 17 and/or Java 21.
• Design and development of microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of inter-service communication using REST and asynchronous messaging.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka including producers, consumers, and delivery guarantees.
• Experience with Microservices patterns (Saga, Outbox, Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead).
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (ACID, CAP, Sharding).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Maven/Gradle, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong expertise in Java 17 and/or Java 21.
• Proven experience in designing and developing Microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of inter-service communication patterns using REST and asynchronous messaging.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including Producers, Consumers, Consumer Groups, Partitioning, Replication, and Message Delivery Guarantees.
• Experience building Event-Driven Architectures and implementing patterns such as Saga, Outbox, Circuit Breaker, Retry, and Bulkhead.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• Solid understanding of ACID, CAP Theorem, Sharding, Replication, and Distributed Systems concepts.
• Experience optimizing database performance, query tuning, indexing, and data modelling.
• Strong knowledge of Java concurrency, multithreading, Completable Future, and Virtual Threads.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Open Telemetry, or ELK Stack.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
