Job summary

Persistent Systems in Hyderabad is seeking a Delivery Leader for Data and Analytics to guide strategic initiatives across India. You will lead software delivery and data programs with a multi‑customer portfolio, driving complex analytics solutions and governance.

The role requires 15–20 years of progressive leadership, strong BFSI domain expertise, and hands-on guidance across Scrum/Agile/Kanban. Travel up to 25% may be required to engage key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Delivery Leadership for software development and data & analytics management programs.
• Robust knowledge of Data & Analytics technologies with BFSI domain expertise.
• Experience with industry standard processes (Scrum/Agile/Kanban).
• Willingness to travel 10–25% for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery for software development and data analytics programs across a multi‑customer portfolio.
• Engage with CxOs/VPs/Director level stakeholders to align delivery with business goals.
• Guide teams in delivery leadership, customer management and technical perspectives.
• Provide hands-on leadership during large‑deal pursuits: design, estimation, planning and proposals.
• Review statements of work with attention to risk and liabilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Candidate must possess around 15+ years of progressive experience in Delivery Leadership roles for Software development and Data and Analytics Management Programs
• Candidate must have robust knowledge of the Data and Analytics technology with BFSI domain expertise
• Most have strong experience in utilizing industry standard processes including Scrum/Agile/Kanban
• Should have proven delivery leadership for a multi-customer portfolio with mix of T&M;, fixed price.
• Ability to engage with CxOs/VPs/Director level stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to travel for customer meetings (10% to 25% travel)
• Ability and willingness to work with teams in a detail-oriented manner to ensure significant program milestones are delivered as per commitments
• Must be able to personally guide teams from program delivery, customer management and technical perspective (in his/her area of expertise)
• Ability and willingness to get involved and take full ownership of delivery during customer escalations
• Must provide hands-on leadership to large-deal pursuits: Guide & work hands-on with the pursuit team for technical solution design, estimation, planning, commercials and proposal presentation.
• Ability to create and review SoWs with attention to details around risk/liabilities
