Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Delivery Operations Associate Manager in India to support financial consolidation and close operations. You will collect operational data, perform analyses, post journal entries, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring GAAP compliance.

The role requires extensive experience in R2R processes, strong communication, and readiness for shifts and travel. The ideal candidate has 10–14 years in finance operations, BCom/MCom education, and hands-on NetSuite ERP

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 6 years post-qualification experience in auditing financial statements and managing books of accounts.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work across teams and time zones.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work in shifts and travel to client facilities as needed.
• Ability to close books as per GAAP with minimal external dependencies.
• Experience with consolidation, inter-company eliminations and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve moderately complex problems and create new solutions when needed.
• Lead medium-small teams and guide project work within Accenture.
• Interact with direct supervisor and client teams to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Prepare consolidation and eliminations accounting as per GAAP and support audits.
• Assist in monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packages.

What would you do?

You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits. Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger. Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified CA + 6 year of post qualification experience in Auditing Financial Statements and managing books of accounts
• Strong and above average communication skills in English Language
• Good working knowledge in ERP System preferably in NetSuite System
• Strong knowledge in excel and ppt
• Flexible to work in shifts to support Client business in different time zone
• Flexible for short / long term travels to visit client facility for training, knowledge transfer, meetings, workshops purpose
• Independently closing books of account as per GAAP without or very minimal dependencies on Client.
• Prepare Consolidation and eliminations accounting as GAAP.
• Reconcile Statutory Ledger vs Primary ledger and perform GAAP adjustments.
• Perform Inter-Company consolidation and elimination accounting
• Perform accruals, prepaid and close sub-ledger.
• Review financial statements, prepare financial reporting package to report quarterly result to investors.
• Provide advice on a wide range of issues, including audit, tax and more .
• Support clients to achieve their goals and aspirations.
• Mentor, train, and guide junior professionals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive transformation initiatives
• Good quantitative and analytical skills
• Experience of GAAP Accounting
• Netsuite ERP and Strong Communication Skills
• BPO industry experience will be an added advantage
• Experience with Airline business will bring added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems

• Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
