Job summary

Akron Intel in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager for the Payments domain to lead multiple cross-functional product squads. You will combine program and delivery management expertise with Agile practices to drive software lifecycles and customer-centric delivery.

Reporting to AVP, you will remove impediments, coordinate with Product Managers, and ensure alignment with roadmaps, governance standards, and delivery metrics across global teams.

• Reporting To: AVP
• Work Mode: Hybrid
• Shift Timings: UK Shift (12:30 PM or 1:30 PM IST Start)
• Work Days: Monday – Friday (Saturday & Sunday Off)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with strong exposure to the Payments domain to lead and support multiple cross‑functional product squads within a fast‑paced product organization. Reporting to the AVP, you will combine program and delivery management expertise with Agile methodologies to drive software development lifecycles and customer‑centric product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery for multiple Agile product squads within the payments ecosystem.
• Serve as Scrum Master and facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Retrospectives, and Reviews.
• Proactively identify, track, and resolve delivery impediments and elevate issues where necessary.
• Manage cross‑functional and cross‑team dependencies to ensure successful execution of delivery commitments.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to align delivery plans with product roadmaps and business priorities.
• Provide clear visibility into delivery progress, risks, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity, quality, and predictability.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, release management, and go‑to‑market processes.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and team‑driven decision‑making.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across business, product, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Support teams in delivering customer‑focused solutions by understanding user impact and business outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices, governance standards, and delivery metrics.

Must‑Have Qualifications & Skills

• Strong Agile delivery management experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good technical understanding of software architecture, development, testing, DevOps, and release processes.

Desired Experience

• Prior experience working with payment platforms, digital payments, card payments, merchant acquiring, or fintech products.
• Exposure to large‑scale product organizations operating in global delivery environments.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Exposure to Product Management practices and customer‑centric product delivery.
