Job summary

NTT DATA in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Delivery Advisor responsible for IT Asset Management of enterprise network assets. You will govern hardware lifecycles, licensing, CMDB accuracy and monthly billing validation, while reporting on inventory, compliance risks and vendor relations.

You will collaborate with Network Operations, Procurement and Finance to ensure end-to-end governance and support audits, transitions and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Configuration Management or related infra service management roles.
• Based in India and willing to work aligned to U.S. business hours to support client operations.
• Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle management and CMDB governance in enterprise environments.
• Experience managing network infrastructure assets such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
• Working knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto software/subscription licensing, entitlements, renewals and compliance concepts.
• Experience with asset reconciliation, data-quality/exception management and monthly asset-based billing or chargeback validation.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including Excel and large asset/CMDB/licensing datasets.
• Strong customer-facing communication, governance and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT Asset Management activities for in-scope network assets and act as an experienced point of contact for client and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee network asset lifecycle activities including onboarding, inventory, deployment, movement, refresh, return and retirement/disposal in coordination with operational teams.
• Maintain accurate asset and Configuration Item (CI) records in the ITAM/CMDB platform, including ownership, location, status, relationships and lifecycle data.
• Reconcile asset records across CMDB/AMDB, discovery sources, procurement and data sources; investigate and coordinate resolution of exceptions.
• Manage software, subscription and support licensing for Cisco, Palo Alto and other vendors, including entitlement, consumption, renewal and compliance tracking.
• Maintain visibility of warranty, maintenance, end-of-life and end-of-support positions and coordinate actions with Network, Procurement and vendor teams.
• Validate monthly asset billing, including billable populations, additions/removals, service status and billing variances.
• Produce operational and governance reporting covering inventory, CMDB accuracy, licensing/compliance risks, renewals, billing and outstanding actions.
• Support hardware/software audits and maintain required asset, entitlement and compliance evidence.
• Define and improve ITAM processes, controls, SOPs and data-quality measures; identify automation, optimization and cost-avoidance opportunities.
• Partner with Network Operations, Procurement, Finance, Service Management, Configuration Management and vendors to ensure end-to-end governance.
• Support transition and service-takeover activities, including knowledge transfer, validation of asset data and operational readiness.

• ITIL and ITAM certifications such as CITAM, CHAMP, CSAM or equivalent preferred.

Experience in managed services environments and reporting tools such as Power BI/Tableau is advantageous.
