Role Description

The Decor Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering wedding décor solutions that align with Humsafar's standards of understated elegance and precise execution. This full-time, on-site role in New Delhi involves collaborating closely with planners, clients, and vendors to develop décor concepts, layouts, and mood boards for multi-day and multi-venue wedding events. Day-to-day tasks include assessing venues, planning spatial layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and translating design ideas into clear construction or implementation drawings. The Decor Designer will oversee on-ground setup, work with production teams to ensure timely installation, and make real-time adjustments to maintain guest comfort, safety, and aesthetic integrity. The role requires meticulous documentation, vendor coordination, and adherence to budget and timelines while maintaining sensitivity to family preferences and cultural rituals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills to create functional, aesthetically coherent layouts for diverse venues.
• Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to translate concepts into clear, buildable plans and technical specifications.
