Job summary

Dechen Consulting seeks a SAP MM/S/4HANA expert for a premium engineer role in Chennai. You will own end-to-end SAP MM processes, drive global deployment, and collaborate with ABAP, Fiori, and GCP/PCF teams to deliver robust SAP solutions.

The role requires a minimum 4 years in SAP MM and 2+ years in S4 HANA, with hands-on S4 Hana implementation experience and strong procurement knowledge. Hybrid work model with 4 days on site.

• Provide day-to-day operations support for SAP MM processes and global deployment
• Lead testing phases: SIT and UAT; ensure quality and stability

Position Description

Functional & Design End-to-End Ownership: Drive assigned functional areas with full accountability, from initial requirement gathering to post-production stability. Business Analysis: Review and analyze clien business processes; conduct Fit-Gap analysis between "As-Is" designs and "To-Be" functional requirements. Documentation & Specification: Create high-quality Functional Design Documents (FDD), Technical Design Documents (TDD), use cases, and user stories. Technical Collaboration: Partner with Software Engineers (ABAP, GCP/PCF, Fiori) to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. 2. Operational Support & Delivery Production Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for SAP MM processes, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution of critical issues. Global Deployment: Support the pilot launch and global rollout, including cutover activities, data profiling, extraction, and cleansing. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational pain points and enhance the user experience. Testing Excellence: Lead and support various testing phases, including Functional, Security, Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 3. Integration SME Expertise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Source-to-Pay processes within the automotive industry to help define the global design roadmap. Legacy Integration: Analyze requirements for integrating SAP S/4 HANA with clients legacy non-SAP systems. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with client Business teams, IT partners, and implementation vendors to align on ERP scope and delivery timelines.
