UST is looking for Semiconductor Product Validation engineer.
The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in DFT and DFD within the functional validation domain, with hands-on experience in developing debug tools such as scan dump, array dump (MBIST), hardware tracing, crash dump, and JTAG-based TAP networking tools. Strong Python coding skills and solid hardware knowledge are mandatory.
Understand the FW features and the test cases to validate them Test content development - Identify, verify and document test procedure for the product features Defining test cases based on feature requirements and running system simulation models. Work with development team in debug and fixing of defects Work closely with Customer team to meet deadlines in test development and execution Publish daily and weekly status reports
Ability to understand BIOS/FW/product features and develop test cases to validate them Hands on experience in UEFI shell command exposure 6+ years of experience in validation of BIOS/FW/platform of Server/Client platforms Experience in designing test cases for Functional / feature requirements from design specification / Architecture specification / firmware architecture documents Understanding of system firmware Good Knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a Server system
Experience with Board bring-up, platform initialization, board support package development, peripherals such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, USB, UART , OS primitives, memory management, scheduling, interrupts, and multi-threading. Good experience in system level debugging with comprehensive understanding of managing and prioritizing system level issues. Extensive background in firmware development or embedded software development within a multicore environment or hardware context. Proficiency in programming in 'C/C++'. Debugging Self-driven and capable of working autonomously.
BTech in Computer Science or relevant field 10-15 + Years of experience.
