About the Role
Manager Cloud Native Developer (AWS) – a technology leader responsible for shaping cloud architectures, guiding engineering teams, and enabling secure, scalable, AI‑enabled platforms for global clients. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, security teams, and leadership to deliver high‑impact cloud transformation initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Technology & Architecture Leadership- Design and implement cloud‑native architectures on AWS aligned to the Well‑Architected Framework.
- Define reference architectures for microservices, serverless, and container‑based platforms.
- Drive architectural decisions across scalability, resilience, performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Review and govern solution designs, ensuring consistency with enterprise and cloud security standards.
- Apply development best practices such as TDD, BDD, and AI‑collaborative development.
Cloud‑Native Engineering Development- Build microservices and APIs using Java.
- Design and develop solutions based on serverless, event‑driven systems, and asynchronous processing.
- Work with EKS, containerization, and orchestration strategies.
- Establish best practices for observability, logging, tracing, and reliability engineering.
AI & GenAI Proficiency- Incorporate AI‑enabled and GenAI‑based application patterns within cloud‑native solutions.
- Integrate LLMs and AI services into enterprise applications.
- Design prompt‑driven, agent‑based, or workflow‑augmented systems.
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and Multi‑Class Classification (MCP) application patterns.
- Apply responsible AI and security considerations in AI usage.
- Act as a technical advisor on AI readiness and AI‑driven modernization.
People, Delivery & Stakeholder Management- Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers; provide technical coaching and career guidance.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business outcomes into technology roadmaps.
- Support pre‑sales, solutioning, and technical estimations when required.

Secondary- DevOps: CI/CD, automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Quality, Security & Reliability – automated testing, defect prevention, security best practices, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning.
- AI, Copilot & Prompt Engineering – use of Microsoft Copilot and AI‑assisted development tools, writing AI prompts for code generation, refactoring, test creation, debugging, integrating LLM APIs, using AI services within cloud‑native workflows, prompt‑driven or agent‑based patterns like RAG and MCP.
- Cloud cost awareness, scalability, resiliency, fault‑tolerant design.

Qualifications

- Hands‑on exposure to AWS, containers, serverless, and AI‑enabled systems.
- Experience working in large‑scale enterprise or global delivery environments.
