Unilever in Patna DC seeks a Logistics Executive to manage and optimize the logistics and distribution operations for timely, cost-effective delivery. You will coordinate with internal teams, 3PLs, and vendors to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of logistics experience, with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, plus proficiency in logistics software and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Logistics Planning & Execution: Plan and oversee the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure on-time delivery. Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and warehouses. Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure alignment with demand forecasts. Ensure proper storage and handling of goods to minimize damage and losses.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics. Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, invoices, and delivery records.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as delivery timelines, cost per unit, and transportation efficiency. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to align logistics operations with business needs. Resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Technology Utilization: Use logistics management software and tools to streamline operations and improve visibility across the supply chain.
