Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a DC Buyer Planner to ensure finished goods planning and on-time delivery from our Bengaluru COE. The role reports to the Team Lead - Materials Planning and will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory and order fulfillment.

You will leverage ERP systems like SAP and Oracle, drive data-driven decisions, and aim to meet daily targets while supporting the broader Danaher supply chain objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, planning and inventory management experience.
• ERP experience with SAP and Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan FG items based on forecast and demand.
• Meet OTD for customer orders.
• Manage internal, OTO and drop ship orders.
• Manage purchase orders.
• Set up and maintain IMAG for FG items.
• Analyze root causes for OTD misses and update Pareto analyses.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions as part of problem-solving.
• Manage inventory at distribution centers.
• Create scrap tickets for expired/obsolete items and coordinate stock clearance in Oracle.
• Run daily management for FG planning.
• Support sales revenue targets and order processing for dropship.

The DC Buyer Planner is responsible for planning of finished goods and meeting the OTD and daily targets for Finished goods. This position reports to the Team Lead - Materials Planning and is part of the Centre of Excellence (COE) team located in Bengaluru, India and will be an on-site role and working remotely to cover Outside United states.

Responsibilities

• Planning of FG items based on forecast and demand.
• Responsible for meeting OTD for customer orders.
• Responsible for Internal, OTO and drop ship order management.
• Responsible for Purchase orders management.
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining IMAG for FG items.
• Responsible for analyzing Root cause for OTD missed lines and updating Pareto’s.
• Responsible for implementing Corrective and Preventive actions as part of the Problem-Solving Process.
• Responsible for inventory management at respective distribution centers.
• Responsible for Creating scrap ticket for expired/obsolete items and work with warehouse team to clear stock in Oracle.
• Responsible for running Daily Management for FG planning.
• Responsible for achieving sales Revenue target.
• Responsible for Invoice validating, Invoice in-warding and invoice processing for dropship orders.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, planning and inventory management roles within a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle preferred).

Additional Preferred Experience

• Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory is available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and scrap.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
