Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Database Developer for PAN India with hybrid work. You will design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and event-driven applications using SQL Server, Kafka, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Java, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities include leading ETL design, migrating legacy ETL to Spark/Batch, building Kafka-based ingestion, optimizing SQL Server, cloud-native design, building microservices with Spring Boot, and driving CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise application development and data engineering.
• Strong SQL Server development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerization.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native design.

• We are currently looking to hire a Database Developer with expertise in SQL Server, ETL, Kafka, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Java, and DevOps to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and event-driven applications.

• Strong knowledge and experience on OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, Docker, Service Mesh (Istio), APIGEE, API Gateway, Avi Load Balancer, Cloud Migration,

DevOps

• Git Actions, Harness, Liquibase, CI/CD Pipelines

Automation

• Strong Experience on PowerShell, Autosys.

File Integration

• Strong experience on NAS, IBM NDM / Connect:Direct, Object Storage, Batch Processing

Observability tools:

• Have work experience and knowledge on Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus,AppDynamics, Linborg.
• Good to have Java Development experience with SpringBoot, Rest APIs and Microservices
