Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in database development, with a strong understanding of database design principles, SQL programming, and data modeling. The Database Developer lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our organization's data needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for various applications and systems within the organization.
Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and data retrieval.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design database solutions that meet business needs.
Perform data modeling to design logical and physical database structures.
Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
Document database design, processes, and procedures.

Additional Comments

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools. Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Certification in database administration or development is a plus.
