Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Architect/DBA to design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for complex business needs.

You will lead migrations from Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server to PostgreSQL, implement cloud deployments (AWS RDS/Azure/GCP), tune performance, automate tasks, and work with DevOps to ensure reliable, scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database development and administration.
• Proven expertise in database migration, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (RDS, Aurora), Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/pgSQL, and database optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with tools like pgAdmin, pg_dump, DBeaver, or other PostgreSQL management tools.
• Experience with database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines related to database deployment.
