Job summary

Epergne Solutions in India seeks a Database Administrator to support enterprise database systems, including installation, maintenance, and performance tuning. The role emphasizes SQL Server expertise and backup/recovery capabilities in enterprise environments.

You will work to ensure high availability, security, and efficient operation of databases, with responsibility for documentation and incident resolution. 3-5 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in database administration and enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (essential).
• Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle is advantageous.
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery, including tools such as Symantec NetBackup.
• Knowledge of high-availability and cluster/failover technologies, such as Microsoft Cluster and SQL Server Always On.
• Experience with database security tools such as Imperva Database Firewall is advantageous.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
