Job summary

Accenture India Private Limited in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to administer and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments. You will handle installation, patching, cloning, troubleshooting, and day-to-day maintenance across development, test and production setups.

Required: Oracle EBS R12.2, Oracle 19c, Linux, WebLogic, and backup/recovery skills; 3+ years in Oracle Apps DBA; BTech/MTech/MCA in IT/CSE/EEE/ECE. OCI knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Apps DBA.
• Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and Oracle Database 19c.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong backup, recovery, cloning and patching capabilities.
• OCI knowledge is an added advantage.

Database Administrator Project Role : Database Administrator Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for administration, monitoring, patching, cloning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of Oracle EBS applications and Oracle databases across development, test, and production environments. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2, Oracle Database 19c, Linux administration, WebLogic, and production support operations.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA, Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN Backup & Recovery, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Forms and Reports, Concurrent Processing, Workflow Administration
• Linux/Unix Administration, Shell Scripting, SQL and PL/SQL, Performance Tuning, Patch Management, Cloning and Refresh Activities
• OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), AWR / ASH / ADDM, ITSM Tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.), Incident and Change Management
• Experience in database installation, configuration, and patching activities.
• Strong knowledge of backup and recovery techniques to ensure data protection.
• Ability to perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with database security management and user access controls.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A BTech or MTech or MCA with IT or CSE or EEE or ECE is required.
• Experience supporting large-scale production Oracle EBS environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an added advantage.
• Oracle certification is preferred.
