Job summary

ennVee India is seeking a Lead Oracle Apps DBA to own the administration, maintenance, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle databases. The role includes installations, upgrades, patches, backups, and troubleshooting to keep critical systems running and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• 15–30 years of experience in Oracle DB/Apps DBA roles.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12.
• Hybrid work setup in Bengaluru/Chennai.
• OCI knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle EBS and Oracle DB environments.
• Install, upgrade, patch, and backup Oracle systems.
• Monitor, tune performance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply patches, cloning, and migration tasks for EBS.
• Maintain data security and user access policies.
• Use RMAN for backups and recovery.
• Work with Oracle WebLogic, OAM, IAM/IDCS.
• Shell scripting to automate routine tasks.

This role involves performing installations, upgrades, patches, backups, and troubleshooting, ensuring that the system operates efficiently and meets business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 and Oracle database administration (Oracle 11g/12c/19c).
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• Apply patches and updates to Oracle EBS, including functional and technical patches.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle applications and databases.
• Backup and restore Oracle databases using RMAN (Recovery Manager) or other tools.
• Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization and indexing.
• Implement and manage data security and user access policies.
• Proficiency in Oracle database tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Oracle EBS patching, cloning, and migration techniques.
• Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, OAM, and other Oracle technologies.
• Experience with shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL for automation and troubleshooting.
• Database RMAN backups, restores and recoveries.
• OEM monitoring, identifying performance issues.
• Unix, Linux basic support, shell scripting.
• Preferable to have knowledge in OCI.
• Good Leadership and commitment towards project management.
