About the Role

The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in DB2, with expertise in DB2 architecture, object creation, backup and restore strategies, tablespace management, data utilities, permissions, health checks, reorganization, installation, HADR, performance tuning, replication, query tuning, upgrades, troubleshooting, data structures, security, and proactive monitoring.

Responsibilities include creating and managing database objects, maintaining database health, implementing patches and upgrades, security management, performance optimization, incident analysis, and day-to-day support activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of DB2 architecture
• Experience in creating database objects like tables and indexes
• Proficiency in backup strategies and restore procedures
