Job summary

Aditya Birla Capital is seeking a Data Scientist in Mumbai with 4–6 years of analytics experience in banks, NBFCs, Fintechs, or consultancies. You will lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, develop and implement models, and communicate results to stakeholders.

The role requires strong ML knowledge, data wrangling skills, and mentoring capabilities. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms is essential for scalable solutions within the BFSI domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 4–6 years of analytics experience in BFSI or related sectors.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; familiarity with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end execution of analytical requirements including model development, implementation & stakeholder communication.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms and statistical modelling to address problems predominantly in BFSI domain.
• Articulate complex data science models / analyses to relevant audience and present solutions concisely.
• Design, prototype, build & maintain frameworks for consumption of ML models at scale.
• Perform feature engineering from traditional and alternate data sources.
• Mentor team of data scientists.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative course
