Job summary

Jobtailor in Gurugram, India, is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with 1–4 years of experience to extract and analyze customer experience data using SQL, Python, and Power BI. Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Customer Experience Analytics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Customer Experience analytics and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce and Medallia.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data analysis, and performance optimization.
• Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and data transformation.
• Experience using AI assistants/tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Salesforce Einstein.
• Experience with Data Lake technologies including Amazon Redshift and Amazon Athena.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation.
• Strong expertise developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work with enterprise Data Lake environments using cloud-based platforms to extract, manage, transform, and analyse large-scale datasets while ensuring data quality and governance.
• Work extensively with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Medallia to extract, analyse, and interpret customer, operational, and engagement data.
• Partner with Customer Experience, Business, and Product teams to analyse customer journeys, feedback, and behavioural data, identify trends, improve customer satisfaction, and support strategic business decisions.
• Perform Entity Resolution and customer identity matching to create a unified customer view across multiple data sources.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for customer experience metrics, operational KPIs, and business performance.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, Python scripts, and Excel-based analyses for data extraction, transformation, validation, automation, and reporting.
• Gather business requirements, improve reporting solutions, and contribute to analytics best practices and documentation.
• Leverage AI and Generative AI tools to automate reporting, streamline data analysis, generate business insights, improve productivity, and support intelligent decision‑making.
• Research emerging AI, GenAI, and analytics technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Prepare, maintain, and deliver Excel-based reports and MIS for business stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc reporting, data analysis, dashboard enhancements, data validation, and BI requirements.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Customer Experience Analytics, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Customer Experience analytics and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce and Medallia.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data analysis, and performance optimization.
• Good working knowledge of Python or a similar programming language for data analysis, automation, and data transformation.
• Experience using LLM‑based tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Salesforce Einstein, or similar AI assistants.
• Experience with Data Lake technologies including Amazon Redshift and Amazon Athena, and large‑scale data management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation.
• Strong expertise developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ability to independently design, develop, and deploy accurate and usable dashboards and reporting solutions.
