• PhD in solar, battery, or renewables preferred.
• Master's degree with 2+ years experience acceptable.
• 2+ years of data science, ML, analytics experience.
• Strong Python with Pandas, NumPy, SQL.
• Experience with time-series data and ML models.
• Proficient with Plotly/Matplotlib, Scikit-learn; Git and REST APIs.

The Role

We are looking for a passionate and analytical Data Scientist to join our Renewable Energy Analytics team. In this role, you will develop data-driven solutions for utility-scale solar, storage [BESS] and wind power plants.You will be expected to transform large-scale operational data into actionable insights. You will work at the intersection of data science, softwareengineeringand renewable energy to build scalable analytics, performance monitoring solutions and predictive models that improve plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop analytics and machine learning solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.
• Analyse large volumes of time-series sensor and SCADA data toidentifyperformance trends and operational issues.
• Design and implement algorithms for fault detection, anomalydetectionand performance diagnostics.
• Develop KPIs related to plant performance, energy generation, equipmenthealthand operational efficiency.
• Build data pipelines for processing, cleaning, analysing high-frequency plant data.
• Create interactive visualisations and dashboards.
• Work with Digital Twin models and simulation outputs (e.g., PVsyst).
• Perform statistical analysis and root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with software engineers,productand Business Development teams in a collaborative environment
• Optimise analytics for scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
