Job summary

Soch Street is seeking a data scientist to translate ambiguous business problems into structured data science problems, analyze large-scale time-series, geospatial and telemetry data, and develop hypotheses, models, and analytical solutions.

You will take solutions from hypothesis to production with Product & Engineering, use AI tools to improve productivity, and drive measurable business impact while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of Data Science experience with end-to-end model ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and first-principles thinking.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Excel.
• Experience with ML, Deep Learning, Data Visualisation and time-series techniques.
• Hands-on experience with anomaly detection, forecasting or optimisation.
• Experience with large, messy real-world datasets.

What We’re Looking For

3–6 years of Data Science experience with end-to-end model ownership.

Strong problem-solving and first-principles thinking.

Strong ownership and ability to work in ambiguity.

Proficiency in Python, SQL and Excel.

Experience with ML, Deep Learning, Data Visualisation and time-series techniques.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑ambiguity startup environment.
