Job summary

Soch Street is seeking a data science professional in Chennai to translate complex business problems into structured data science tasks and to work with large-scale time-series, geospatial and telemetry data. You will develop and validate hypotheses, build models, and push solutions to production in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

You will tackle anomaly detection, forecasting and optimisation while using AI tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of Data Science experience with end-to-end model ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and first-principles thinking.
• Strong ownership and ability to work in ambiguity.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Excel.
• Experience with ML, Deep Learning, Data Visualisation and time-series techniques.
• Hands-on experience with anomaly detection, forecasting or optimisation.
• Experience working with large, messy real-world datasets.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
