Qualifications

• A degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitative field.
• 5+ years work experience as a Data Scientist, preferably fintech.
• Hands-on experience with ML/programming tools such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Proficiency in statistical techniques: Logistic Regression, CatBoost, XGBoost, SVM, Clustering, PCA.
• Experience in distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.

Requirements to be successful in this role

• A degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or other similar quantitative field
• 5+ year work experience as a Data scientist preferably in fintech space
• Hands on experience with ML/programming tools such as Python, R, and SQL
• Proficiency in some of the following statistical techniques: Logistic Regression, Catboost, XGBoost models, SVM, Clustering, PCA etc.
• Experienced in distributed computing frameworks such as Spark
• Team management experience is a plus
• Good business acumen with strong ability to solve business problems through data-driven quantitative methodologies
• Detailed oriented, is expected to ensure highest level of quality in reports & analysis
• Experience in presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders
• Exhibit intellectual curiosity and strive to continually learn
