• Review laboratory data packages for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Verify calculations, transcriptions and data entries for correctness.
• Primary focus on sterility by membrane filtration studies.
• Review test documentation to ensure information is present and documented.
• Identify discrepancies and potential compliance concerns.
• Ensure investigations, deviations and corrections are documented.
• Ensure test results are supported by raw data and meet acceptance criteria.
• Maintain timely review and release of data to support client turnaround times.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve findings and improve documentation.
• Ensure outputs meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Data Reviewer to support medical devices microbiology team for data review/QC. This role sits at the intersection of science and communication, ensuring that scientific documentation is complete, consistent, timely, and publication‑or audit‑ready.

Typical Backgrounds for This Role

Candidates May Come From Roles Such As

Experience in CROs, GMP laboratories, or regulated scientific environments is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Review laboratory data packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved procedures.
• Verify calculations, transcriptions, and data entries for correctness.
• Primary focus on sterility by membrane filtration studies
• Review test documentation to ensure all required information is present and properly documented.
• Identify discrepancies, documentation errors, and potential compliance concerns and escape as appropriate.
• Confirm that investigations, deviations, and corrections are adequately documented.
• Ensure test results are supported by raw data and meet applicable acceptance criteria.
• Maintain timely review and release of data to support client turnaround times.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to resolve data review findings and improve documentation practices.
• Ensure document outputs meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications (M.Sc Microbiology with 1-2 years of experience)

• Familiarity with regulated environments (GMP, GxP, clinical research, or equivalent)
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and consistency
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities
