Job summary

Mantle Solutions is seeking a Data Protection Specialist to strengthen our data governance, compliance program, and information security posture. You will work with IT, Legal, HR, Risk, and business teams to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on Purview experience, DLP design, and lifecycle management across Microsoft 365 environments, with a focus on data protection controls and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CA or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in Data Protection, Information Security, Compliance, Privacy, or Data Governance.
• 2–3 years hands-on Microsoft Purview experience in an enterprise.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365 suite components (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Experience with DLP, data classification, auto-labeling, and records management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Purview Information Protection and Sensitivity Labels.
• Design and maintain DLP policies across Microsoft 365.
• Implement and monitor Endpoint DLP controls.
• Support Data Lifecycle Management and Records Management initiatives.
• Manage Insider Risk, Audit, eDiscovery, and Communication Compliance activities.
• Monitor security and compliance alerts, investigate incidents, provide remediation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and expertise in data classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), records management, compliance monitoring, and information security. The role will work closely with IT, Information Security, Legal, HR, Risk Management, and business teams to protect sensitive information, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen the organization's data governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Sensitivity Labels.


• Design and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365 environments.
