Job summary

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a seasoned Data Program Manager to own the Phoenix Data Workstream, a critical component of a multi-year Oracle ERP, EPM, and finance transformation.

You will act as the single point of accountability for planning, governance, and vendor oversight, ensuring a controlled data landscape that enables business transformation across Finance, Technology, and reporting teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project or programme management experience, preferably in large-scale Oracle ERP transformations.
• Proven experience leading data migration workstreams and enterprise data governance initiatives.
• Strong understanding of finance transformation programmes and chart of accounts redesign.

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a seasoned Data Program Manager to own the Phoenix Data Workstream, a critical component of a multi‑year Oracle ERP, EPM, and finance transformation. The role will act as the single point of accountability for planning, governance, delivery coordination, risk management, stakeholder engagement and vendor oversight, ensuring a controlled, governed data landscape that enables business transformation across Finance, Technology, Reporting, Architecture, Change, Oracle and KPMG teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Workstream across the full programme lifecycle, developing and maintaining an integrated workstream plan.


• Oversee end‑to‑end data migration strategy, sequencing, execution, and reconciliation, including cleansing, ETL and cut‑over activities.


• Establish and maintain Enterprise Data Management (EDM) as the single source of truth, driving master data governance and stewardship.


• Coordinate downstream reporting and analytics readiness, managing impacts of chart of accounts, organisational structures and finance process redesign.


• Drive implementation of the Phoenix Data Strategy and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and ODP/Data Platform integration.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, finance leaders, technology and architecture teams, Oracle, KPMG and downstream application owners.


• Manage delivery activities performed by KPMG and Oracle, challenging estimates and ensuring contractual deliverables meet quality standards.


• Maintain RAID logs, prepare governance packs for SteerCo/ExCo, and produce regular status, risk and issue reports.


• Track workstream budget, forecasts and financial commitments, ensuring alignment with programme financial controls.


• Facilitate workshops, design reviews and governance forums, escalating issues and decisions in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project or programme management experience, preferably in large‑scale Oracle ERP transformations.


• Proven experience leading data migration workstreams and enterprise data governance initiatives.


• Strong understanding of finance transformation programmes and chart of accounts redesign.


• Demonstrated ability to manage global stakeholder groups and multi‑vendor environments.


• Experience working within complex, matrixed organisations and delivering against tight timelines.


• Oracle ERP Cloud delivery experience (highly desirable).


• Hands‑on experience with Oracle EDM and FCCS (highly desirable).


• Experience implementing ODP or enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric (highly desirable).


• Financial Services industry background (highly desirable).


• Excellent communication, negotiation and risk mitigation skills.
